Some people watch TV, some play sports, some go to the bar and some just chill out.

What do you do with you spare time and money.

I play a computer game. That’s the way I see this. I do the things that most people do and in my spare time I play this computer game. As I progress through each levels I earn more money, simple.

This is obviously a serious business but the point I am trying to make is that when you first start out in this game you have to put it into perspective. People are sceptical and quite rightly so because you can get sucked in and fleeced if you are not careful. But let me just help get things in perspective here for a moment. The kind of money that you are going to risk loosing over the next year need be no more than the price of a couple of computer games. You have control, you don’t have to spend much at all to see if it works for you. So if you play it like a game and don’t get hung up on wheather or not you are going to loose a few dollars you will enjoy it more. Because you enjoy it you keep doing it and the very thing that will make you successful is keeping at it. The good news is that you won’t have to wait too long if you do it right. Even if you get it wrong you will  know why and see that you can change it or get it right next time.

The reason I got involved in internet marketing is a simple one. No one can deny that the internet probably offers the most powerful platform for the ordinary man/woman to make large sums of money with little capital outlay. A percentage of your visitors will click your links or buy your product so all you actually need to do to get this to work is drive enough visitors or traffic to your website. The more visitors that you get the more clicks you get and the more you earn. This is not as simple as it sounds but if you know how to research and find a market the odds of success are increased dramatically.

The Internet is most commonly used for finding information. Even when people have a product in mind they often use the Internet to find information on that product. So if you can learn the art of getting lots of visitors to a website that provides information and a product you will almost certainly make sales. The fact that the product is not your own is irrelevant. If you have a product that’s great but it depends on what you want to achieve. I tend to stick with marketing other peoples products and non physical products that can be used online or downloaded. To me  a physical product just creates more work and a new set of problems to deal with but that’s just my opinion and opinions differ.

My mind set is a simple one . I know I can keep playing my game without breaking the bank. As I play the game I get better at it and the better I get the more I earn. It is just simple maths. Lots of visitors to your website = a some income, more websites = more income, lots of websites = lots of income.

The Internet is a big place and there are many people who have taken the time to learn about it and as a result have earned large sums of money. The skill of being able to bring traffic to your page is a great skill to possess.
